A telescopic handler, also called a lull or a reach forklift, is a machine often used in the agriculture industry. It is somewhat like a forklift but has a telescopic cylinder, making it more like a crane than a forklift, with the increased versatility of a single telescopic boom that can reach forward and upward from the machine. The boom can be fitted with different attachments, such as a bucket or a winch.
In industry, the most widely used attachment for a telehandler is pallet forks and the most common application is to move loads from and to places unreachable for a standard forklift. For example, lulls have the capability to remove palletized cargo from within a trailer and to place that cargo on to rooftops and other elevated locations.
