Used Construction Equipment Maryland

Located in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States, Maryland is a state named after the English queen Henrietta Maria, wife of King Charles I. The state of Maryland borders Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia. It is also known by other names such as the Chesapeake Bay State, or the Free State. Maryland’s identity is closely associated with the Chesapeake Bay, which also plays a pivotal role in the region’s economy.

Maryland has always played an important part in the early history of the United States. Before the permanent settlement of European settlers, the territory that became Maryland later on had been inhabited by various Native American tribes, most of whom were Algonquin. The first European settlers came in the year 1634, and the settlement at the time was noticeably more tolerant to other sects of Christianity than others. Maryland was among the original Thirteen Colonies that would make up the United States in the future. It played an active role in the events leading to the Revolutionary war. The state’s representative signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776, and many of its citizens became prominent figures during the war. After the war, a part of Maryland was ceded to the District of Columbia to form the capital city.

The capital city of Maryland is Annapolis, which is located at the mouth of Severn River. Annapolis was an important site during the Revolutionary war, as it served as the temporary national capital of the United States during a short period from 1783-1784.

The largest city in the state is Baltimore, which is also the 30th-largest city in the country. Baltimore is a historic city with many historically significant neighborhoods, including Fell’s Point, Federal Hill, and Mount Vernon, some of the earliest neighborhoods to be included in the National Register of Historic Districts.

Maryland Used Construction Equipment

With the unprecedented rate of development in Maryland, the demand for top-tier construction equipment is on the rise once more. Heavy machines like telehandlers, straight boom lifts, or scissor lifts will allow workers to quickly work on any construction project with ease, contributing to the state’s development. In case you need the right used construction equipment, we are the partner you need! We at NLEQ provide:

  • Telehandlers: Telehandlers sit among the most versatile lifting machines. They come with a long and straight boom, and a slot for attachments at the end of the boom, which can take on an aerial work platform or a bucket for agricultural projects.
  • Straight boom lifts: Straight boom lifts are similar to telehandlers as they also feature a straight boom and an attachment slot at the end of the boom. The difference lies in the fact that straight boom lifts do not feature a drivable cabin.
  • Articulating boom lifts: These pieces of equipment are fitted with articulating booms instead of straight booms, allowing them to get over obstacles more easily.
  • Towable boom lifts: As the name suggests, these types of lifts are designed to be towed into the job site with ease.
  • Scissor lifts: Scissor lifts feature interlacing metal rods, which look like many scissors stacking on one another. These pieces of equipment are designed for indoor maintenance tasks as well as outdoor construction tasks.
  • Spider lifts: Featuring four extended arms that dig deep into the ground, these lifts are much more stable than others.
